Well the first week back has gone well!
I was very tired on Friday but it was a good week and lots was accomplished! Looking forward to next week as the whole week is Math themed. Yes... I am actually looking forward to math. Since teaching it, I have enjoyed it a lot more, and I am happy to say I confidently add, subtract, and divide... single digits by single digits...
This weekend has been another crazy but great time! I went to Gatwick yesterday morning to pick up Kaila, as she has flown in for the week! So we explored Hyde Park, which I had never actually been to before. It was beautiful, I think I have just found my new favourite place in London for sure. We saw the Peter Pan Statue, the Italian Fountains, and the Princess Diana Memorial. I am going to go back and take proper photos with my camera sometime soon. It was amazing, especially with all the beautiful fall colours.
Then I trekked home for birthday party number one! I have a few birthday celebrations coming up over the next few days so it will all be exciting!
Today is another lovely birthday to celebrate!!
OH before I forget I am very happy to say that my new furniture arrived from ikea and I even built it with little to no diagram help!
