It's been a while since I have posted.
The weather here has been insane! Our school shut down last Friday and this week on Monday due to a massive dumping of snow.
It was like snow we have at home, but worse in the sense that this country just can't handle it! The roads take forever to be ploughed, they have sand trucks instead of salt (grit trucks), which only go around once and a while.
It was neat to be here though, surrounded with people who love the snow when they get it once and a while. It was like being a little kid again. On Saturday I had a snowball fight, snow-jobbed people, and built a snowman. I felt like a girl of 9 all over!
HOWEVER, I have had enough of this white stuff already! I moved here to get away from snow and it's followed me here!
This weekend is being spent catching up with friends! Dave, who I believe you all have heard of at this point, is away being a wonderful son helping his Mom out, and I am going into London. It has been ages since I have been into the city. Erin and I are going the Natural History Museum in South Kensington, and hopefully Harrod's after that!
Last night I went for dinner with Rubina and a few lovely ladies, it was great to catch up and have a much-needed laugh.
Tomorrow will be spent around the house and running around. It's nice that things are 'quiet' this weekend, or just to catch up with some very dear friends and to catch up on what I need to get done.
