Friday Update VI

I will say that it is very difficult to catch up on work sometimes. Regardless of your profession there are those times when you just simply get swamped and no matter how many times you write the infamous 'to-do' list, sometimes... it just doesn't get done.

Well... I am proud and relieved to say that I have finished my WHOLE To-Do list for once. This week was so incredibly productive for me! The saying 'work hard, play hard' has been in my head all week.

As a result of the 'work hard' motto of the week, I headed into London for the weekend to visit Erin and Erin! We had a night out in Essex. I think I have failed to mention to you all in Canada how much  I LOOOOOOVE ESSEX! There is this show called "The Only Way is Essex" (TOWIE), and well, it made me fall even more in love with Essex. When I was living in East London I often did supply out towards Essex. It's beautiful! However, back to TOWIE, the best way I can describe this show is that is a comedic version of The Hills.

So anyways, we were out in Essex, it was a great time as always. Yesterday we headed into Central London and we went to the Tower of London. I think have just discovered a new interest and love of the Tudors. It was fascinating to see the Crown Jewels, learn about the Royals histories, and to see the the marks in the walls from the original dates of the towers.

All in all, I have had one of the best weekends I've had in a while simply due to the fact of "Work Hard, Play Hard!"
