It's amazing how quickly things are going. I have no idea where the past month and a half has gone. I am so excited for half term as my friend is getting married next Friday! I can't wait to go to my first English Wedding!
As for the rest of the break I am going to catch up with friends and I am very excited as my friend Jess is coming!! Jess has been living in Dublin for the past year and she is making a pit stop in London before heading back to Canada.
I am also very excited for Halloween. I had a great time last year celebrating, even though it's not a huge holiday here. I actually found it more entertaining because people stared at us because we were in costumes and I guess we looked like tools haha.
I am just not able to grasp that it's been over a year, it's amazing what can happen in a year as well. I am still enjoying work, although I am very tired. I had my first parent's night this week and I am very happy to say it went well and I survived! It made the week a lot longer, but it was great to meet them.
Also- I'd like to take this opportunity and give Harv a shout-out, with notable mention to Pat. We have Diversity week at school next week and they have sent me a Leafs Jersey to go as an official Canadian! That's right, I'm going to wear my blue and white proud! Which also leads me to a question- what's happening with hockey? Are they on strike?
I will also be coaching hockey this year, field/street? not ice though. I actually asked if it we were going to play ice to which I was laughed at, clearly not here.
Anyways, I am off to get my Saturday started!
xoxo
