Friday Update 1:
Well I have officially finished my first week of teaching! I barely slept on Monday evening. When I arrived at work on Tuesday I was greeted by an incredibly amazing and supportive staff. Everyone has been incredibly helpful and supportive and have offered a lending hand with anything. To me, this has made the transition into whole class so much more easier knowing how many people are standing behind me on this journey.
My class of year 5s are absolutely lovely. The children are hilarious and make me giggle lots. This week has been exhausting but I am thoroughly enjoying the experience. I have missed school! It's been exciting setting up my room. I would say how much I have enjoyed planning, but I feel that in a few weeks/months time I may not feel the same.
The weather has still continued to be gorgeous and held out for this Canadian, hopefully it'll be here to stay for a while. This weekend includes planning and sleep. I know in Teacher's College, everyone warned us all of how tired we are, but seriously, I am exhausted already, but it has been worth it...every single second.
I love teaching!
